TLA Board Meeting Minutes
February 21, 2022
7:00 Pm. Meeting convened. Attendees included Bill Barton, Jean Bell, Danny Vogus, Eric Stoer, Rich Haupt, Russ Conklin, Jeff Cox, Jackie Blombach and Dave Haab.
The objective of the meeting was to catch up post the fall and to update everyone on key issues that require further discussion/attention. These included:
- Lake Management: Permit Status, Lake Management Plan, Zebra Mussels, Water Quality Testing, Beaver Trapping, West Twin weed harvesting and skimmer update
- Membership/Website/Communications
- Education
- Finances
- Boating Safety/new regulations
- Town Initiatives: Lake Patrols and joint IWWC and P&Z efforts to harmonize their regulations
The decision we made was to purchase and drop a dozen or so bricks in the lakes to study zebra mussel accumulation.
No other decisions were made at the meeting and it was agreed that a follow up meeting with more detail and/or follow up on the above items would be held sometime towards the end of March.
